One of the best soccer games I’ve seen
The USA vs. Italy World Cup game today was one of the best soccer games I have ever seen, even though it was just a tie. I have never seen a team down to 9 players hold off a world soccer power like that before.
There is nothing like World Cup soccer.
Flip4Mac releases Intel beta of Windows Media plugin
According to The Unofficial Apple Weblog, Flip4Mac has released a universal binary of its Windows Media plugin for QuickTime. While you technically need to be on some beta mailing list to try it out, someone has posted a comment on TUAW with a link to the download.
Now us Intel-Mac users can listen/watch Windows Media files online without forcing the browser to work in Rosetta.
The spam invasion
Some asshole decided to start spamming my blog.
Over 6,000 spam comments have been sent to my blog the past three days. That is three times the amount I had since restarting this blog over a year ago.
Only two slipped through and those two were held for moderation. That is right, out of over 6,000 spam comments, not one actually made it onto the site.
That to me is a miracle. And I owe it all to a little WordPress Plugin that wrecks any chances of spam coming in. Thank you Akismet!
