This one hit a little too close to home
Newport, NH soldier killed in Iraq
I didn’t know him personally, but apparently my father worked with his father for many years. I send my best wishes to his family and friends.
I know several people who are in Iraq or are probably going back there in the next few months. I hope they all can come home soon, safe and sound.

Easy way to take a screenshot in Mac OS X
I just found this out minutes ago and had to write about it. I never knew it was this easy to do a screenshot in OS X.
Command-Shift-3 (full screen)
Command-Shift-4 (selection)
Instantly on my desktop, a PNG image shows up with the screenshot.
I love Macs.
